Large Folding Step

Redesigned to conform to NFPA pamphlet 1901/04 and Federal Highway Administration regulation 49CFR, Section 399 specifications. Independent tests indicate this step will withstand a vertical static load of over 800 pounds. The step pad area is over 35 square inches and has a serrated non-skid surface with openings large enough for a right or left hand-hold. Zinc/Aluminum Alloy, with heavy duty stainless steel springs that hold the step firmly in the open or closed position without rattling. Unit will not rust or corrode. Chromeplate.
